Welcome to I-Hacked.com
 --------------------------------------------------
Electronics are everywhere, and technology drives pretty much everything we do in today's world. We show you how to take advantage of these electronics to make them faster, give them added features, or to do things they were never intended to do.

We are not a "cracking" site, we are hackers. Our inquisitive nature leads us to find ways of making technology work for us. We do not support unauthorized access into systems, breaking into email systems, or anything of that nature. Please do not email me asking me how to do this type of stuff.

Please enjoy your stay, check out the articles, and submit some of your own. As a community we can share our tips/tricks/and hacks with each other. The I-Hacked.com's "Most Wanted" are articles that we are currently looking for articles to be written about.

Articles are open to the public, however downloads and the forums are restricted to members only. If you are interested in becoming a member, please click here.

RCA RD2780 Hard Drive Upgrade
Written by Normando
Monday, 24 January 2005
I feel that the RD2780 should have shipped with a minimum of a 40GB drive. Unfortunately, it only comes in the 20GB flavor. The good news is that Thomson did not make it very difficult to upgrade the hard drive yourself. The RD2780 can use any 9.5mm IDE 2.5" laptop hard drive.

I am writing this to help you, so if you mess up your $400 RD2780... it is your fault, and I and this site assume absolutely no responsibilty for anything. Follow this guide at your own risk. If you are cautious, you should not have any problems.

Get and Diagnose Chrysler computer codes
Written by hevnsnt
Thursday, 20 January 2005

Not every article posted on I-Hacked has to relate to personal computers.. I want to show you how to use ALL Technology to your advantage.. Such as the following article.  Learn how to diagnose your car's computer error codes!

All Chrysler vehicles with fuel injection have had some form of "error checking." In many older vehicles, a person could easily turn the key back and forth a few times to get a two-digit code. With some of the newer vehicles, a longer code seems to be used. In addition, as with all vehicles sold in the United States, the system is OBDC3 compatible, so that a standard diagnostic device can be plugged into a standard jack to get computer codes.

ps2 memory card exploit
Written by ir1337
Tuesday, 18 January 2005
The following exploit allows anyone with a memory card and a valid PS1 disc to hi-jack the boot process and run any piece of code on there PS2. Absolutely no modification to your system is necessary to run programs using the exploit.  All you really need to do is find a way to send the files to the memory card to enable the exploit. A boot disc like Swap magic or Action replay should do it. You can also use the original hdloader cd to install the exploit.

How to "borrow" ringers from pay sites
Written by Surbo
Friday, 14 January 2005

First you must have to find a site that allows you to review the ringers .. such as lets say a .qcp file

Well the site that I found    www.CENSORED.com  lets me preview ringers.  "Site was removed to protect the example site from fixing the hole"
But wait they want me to sign up - which takes about 1 to 2 minutes - plus after that I have to pay 20 bucks - no thanks

Things you will need -

  • Internet  - Which if you reading this you are good
  •  Microsoft FrontPage (or any other wysiwyg html editor)  - This helps "borrow" the links - Lots of ways to do this
  •   Basic html skills
