Re:evga 6800 le to 6800 ultra question - 2005/11/04 00:51 Firstly, it doesn't need to be an LE, just as long as stuff on the card is disabled so that the company can sell it cheaper to you.

Second, i would suggest newegg.
Newegg's 6800 lineup

If you look in there, you will want to look for the cards with only 12 pixel pipelines. i would tell you to get the eVGA 6800 with 12 pixels. Then, do the simple softmod and enable 16 pipes and 6 vertex pipes. Somthing else ive read is that you should overclock the card Before unlocking the masked pipes. Got any probs? lemme know, and i'll try and do what i can. This will void the warranty though so be careful .
