MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2005/11/24 23:26 hey guys i'm building the mirt and i've checked and double checked and triple checked my wiring, i've got the timing circuit built but when i go to test it my test led does not flash it only lights solid. If i change the resistance of r1 it fries the ic chip. I purchased 4 ic chips and have fried two so far. One thing i noticed was that on the wiring diagram on the how to page it shows the r1 wired one way and on the diagram on the members only page it shows r1 wired differntly, which way is the correct way? and which pins are which on r1? i'm also wondering which way to put in the ic chip? how do i know which pin is pin 1 on the ic chip as if i flip the ic chip 180 degrees then i could have two pin ones.

Re:MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2005/11/29 15:56 The one on the public page is wrong. It's total bull. I've talked to many people from I-Hacked forums and all of them that have worked on this project claim they used the one on the members-only page.

In other words, use the schematic on members-only page.

I have posted the gerbers.. They are the same schematic, just written differently.

Re:MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2005/12/07 20:14 I cannot open the downloaded files, anyone know what program they open in? I can see a schematic and two pictures, but that's all. I think we need the "other side" of the board's view. I really want to build this, but one time only. Don't want to fry those parts. Can anybody help me , pleeze? Is there any form of directions? Someone ought to make the board (available)... for members of course.
Thx in advance for ANYBODY's help.
