New Hacks? - 2006/01/12 23:07 Hey hevnsnt, planning any good hacks to release? Or anything that would spice up life around here? Motercycle hacks are nice, but not everyone has or can afford one. We need stuff that we can all do and discuss that doesnt cost a crap load.

Re:New Hacks? - 2006/01/15 01:44 i may have some good ones, but they're on a CD, if someone could show me how to create a CD image, i could send some really cool stuff to hevnsent to look through. assuming it wouldn't take 3 days to upload on damn dialup.

What do have for burning CD's? Are you using windows or linux?

Under linux you can 'dd if=/dev/hdc of=cd_image.iso' if your cdrom is hdc. Under windows it makes a difference what software you are using but what you want to look for is a way to create an iso image. If your software allows you to copy a CD and you only have one drive then you usually have to have some free space on your hard drive. That free space is used to hold a copy of the iso between copying the original cd and burning it to the blank. Nero or direct cd will usually ask if you want to save the iso. Say yes and send that to hevnsnt.

i might be able to save the .iso, but it'll have to wait tilli get high speed to send it (hopefully 3 weeks or so). i'll look. is there any way to do it with windows, or a small free program i can get to do it?
