Re:Video Game Burning - 2006/07/13 15:20
I use a full copy of Alcohol 120% which is designed for corporate back-ups (Windows CDs etc) but it works great to make ISOs and burn them. If you are talking PC gaming then Alcohol also has a built in virtual drive mounter/manager which is able to handle ISOs not created with the program as well as those that are. For copyrighted material it has options to continue past the normal copyright errors that cause protected CDs not to burn. It also has specific settings designed for PS2/XBOX games as well, which I have personally never used, but have been told work well (You still need a modded console of course). For DVDs my version is unable to make EXACT PC DVD ISOs of protected media but a newer version may have this feature (I don't need it so I don't update, and therefore don't know).
