Re:CPU Advice - 2007/06/18 10:58 I run a 1.8GHz Core 2 with the stock fan and no extra paste. The stock came with some then the fan pops on top and the two case fans take care of the rest. My PC runs at a constant room temp, and the processor has never overheated or crashed. I wouldn't waste money on any aftermarket thermal paste unless your CPU fan didn't come with any.
