playing xbox 360 games - 2007/07/30 10:55 Does any one one know how to mod a orginal xbox to play xbox 360 games? i was told there is a way. only thing i was thinking was maybe get a xbox dvd- rom and putting it in the xbox but not sure if that would work. any one got a idea?

unless you plan to cram the powerpc cpu of a xbox 360 into an original xbox's intel socket, you're outta luck.

No, an xbox cannot play xbox 360 games, it is impossible due to extreme hardware differences, why do you think the list of original xbox games that work on the 360 is so short? Because MS has to emulate the original xbox game engine because the 360 has a powerpc cpu while the original was intel. CodedChaos.com
