Breaking in my Eee PC - 2008/04/22 22:48 So I've been messing around with my newly acquired computer and I really don't know a whole lot about using the stuff on BT3. Anyone know of any good books to read through or websites to check out for information on learning how to use the apps? This is my fist linux bases PC I've had so I know pretty much nothing, but I'm very interested in learning it all. Any help is much appreciated!

Re:Breaking in my Eee PC - 2008/04/23 01:12 I'd familiarize myself with terminal if I were you. Here's some basic commands http://www.reallylinux.com/docs/basic.shtml

There's also a post with BT1 here http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/231/42/ while not all commands are the same, many can be easily adapted (as I've done before.)

Re:Breaking in my Eee PC - 2008/04/23 22:40 Well, if I had learned by a website, I would recommend it.. but I learned from experience/friends help so I guess all I have to offer is if you have any questions just ask and I can probably help.

Re:Breaking in my Eee PC - 2008/04/25 23:10 I'm messing around trying to crack my wep and when I use aireplay to read packets (aireplay-ng -2 -b APmac -d ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff -m 68 -n 68 -p 0841 -h CLmac ath0) it says "The interface MAC (**:**:**:**:**:**) doesn't match the specified MAC (-h). ifconfig kis0 hw ether (CLMac)"

Any idea on what that is? It's not causing any problems ( I think, lol), I just don't know what it means.

Also, to get more IV's I have to let airodump run for a while so it can intercepts the packets that are being sent correct?
