Re:Acer Aspire 5920 BIOS PW locked - 2009/09/07 02:22 Thanks, I was researching a service manual Acer techs have and on some of their laptop motherboards there is Gap Pos contact with a designation G10 as seen written on the motherboard.This is on the processor side right and lower if the processor is toward the top. You are to use a electrical shorting tool, I would imagine some sort of jumper wire and short the two contacts in the designated area. While holding the jumper on these points you are supposed to power up and wait for the computer to get to the bios and finish posting.You are then suppose to remove the jumper tool and restart.
