Wish I had the guts to do this...I don't - 2005/02/09 06:04
I have found a way to view the network security cameras at my school (am too scared to try it). They are all made by AXIS (this is not one of those google exploits, they don't appear on there, from my school's IP range). I used bugmenot to login to the AXIS download center and got the IP utility(exe). If I just renamed it and changed the file extension to .doc, and then put it in my yahoo briefcase, and then change it's extension back to exe on the school side , I would be able to use it. This program finds all network cameras on the network the computer is on. It then gives you the IP, the camera's home page on the net (exploitable, for remote viewing), and other stuff that I don't need. I don't think I will do this, untill I am about to graduater, and it is the last week of school or somthing. I really wanna look at these cameras though...GRR gotta keep myself from breaking various acceptable use policy terms, and various unspoken computer rules as well....
