PSP Hack - 2005/08/06 14:54 We just put a SNES on the PSP, and its running really slowly. Does anyone know what we did wrong or what we can do to fix it? I pushed left on the control stick to enter the settings for the SNES, but the only options really are turn up the frame skip. Still runs like ass Is this normal or what?

Thanks

Re:PSP Hack - 2005/08/06 19:24 I sorta got that going decently good. Now I'm having tons of problems and cannot get doom to work. How does that work? I got super Smash brothers home brew thingy to work fine, but doom still refuses to.

I get these errors:

What can I do about this? I copy it streight to the PSP or I use PSP Brew 0.53 and it still wont. I have the WAD files for duke nukem, doom 1 and 2, and goldeneye and a couple others.

Re:PSP Hack - 2006/02/02 02:37 You just go into the main menu of SNES (via left analog) and change the framerate/skip from there. (press O). When you get that part done, you may want to adjust audio rate and cpu speed higher to like 333mhz. I can't tell you the best setting since each rom reacts differently, but basically, just mess around with the emulator until you feel comfortable with it.

Re:PSP Hack - 2006/02/02 15:13 Sounds like you may be using the SNES Emulator that's in the i-hacked downloads section, and it's old as hell. Check this one out, its an updated version, runs on 1.50 *2.00 and **2.60

More recent SNES emulator: http://dl.qj.net/Snes9x-TYL-v0.2c-Super-Nintendo-SNES-Emulator-Gaming-Consoles-PSP-Emulators/pg/12/ fid/206/catid/135

The special thing about the new Emulator is that it has speedhacks for almost every game which made you only have to skip 2-4 fps to get a normal speed as opposed to skipping 8+ with the old emulator.
