Re:MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2005/12/08 11:04 I am wondering which picture (diagram) really is the correct one. The two on his "files" that I can see only show one side together, the back side is necessary, although I can figure it out using the schematic, but then again, is that schematic correct? If I assemble it, and it's wrong, poof, there goes a lot of parts. I wish someone had this answer. Anyone out there PLEASE shed some light on this. I really want to build one, and I have ALL the parts ready to do it. Incidentially, Radio Shack has a great project box which INCLUDES a board that fits inside. Box is 3-1/4" Wide X 2-1/8" Tall X 1-3/8" Deep the board sits inside, and holds in by two screws. I believe that everything (except the 36 LED) will fit on it, and be securred away. Part #270-283, and it costs $3.99 ! S-o-o-o-o if anyone can help us out, it will be most graciuosly appreciated. I will post the results of my build, etc.
I thank you all in advance for your time and help in this matter, Paul Cullen

Re:MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2006/02/28 22:39 I am not sure what you guys are talking about. The schematic on the public page is IDENTICAL to the one on the second page, it is just drawn differently.

Gerber files can be opened in EagleCAD (a very popular PCB software)

Re:MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2006/03/14 13:27 Hi,
I am looking at building one of these and have the Gerber files which show the Schematics and the Board Overlay etc.
Was wondering if anyone has discovered a source for having the boards etched commercially at a reasonable price ?
I can get one done here in Oz but it is really expensive to have just one done at a Board house here, as on a Prototype Basis.

I would be really interested in hearing from anyone who has a spare board for sale or knows where they may have been produced in small quantities for Resale

All info gratefully received.

regards.

Re:MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2006/03/14 17:38 I don't know if this will help you or not but I picked this up at Radio Shack for other PCB projects.

Re:MIRT wiring, which diagram? - 2006/03/15 12:48 Thanks for that, It is much cheaper than what is available here when you add up all the various individual costs for the different processes, i.e Drawing the tracks, Drilling, etching etc.
I might see if they have the kit in a Double sided Board version.

Regards.
