WTF Is up with I-Hacked these days? - 2005/02/23 01:27
If you have been hanging around here lately you may have wondered some of these questions below, so instead of responding back to the 100's of emails I get, I will hopefully answer most of them here.:
->Why is the site occasionally down?
Well this site used to just be a simple hobby site.. But it has started to become more and more popular. The shared hosting plan I was on just couldnt handle the traffic. I have purchased a dedicated server and will be moving to it sometime this week. Expect some downtime soon, but in the end we will have a much faster site to play with!
->Why hasnt there been any big hacks released lately?
I am holding back 5 LARGE articles that you guys are going to love. I am not going to post them until after I have moved to the new server. As I said in a previous post.. If you like was has been posted already, then you are going to LOVE what is coming.
->Why wont you respond to my emails that I sent you?
Sorry, I really, really dont want to be rude, but I have been getting an enormous amount of email lately: Most of them asking "How do I do this" or "How can I do that".. I do not have enough time in the day to answer all the emails, so I dont answer any of them. Trust me, if you sent it to me, I read it. If you really have a question that NEEDS to be answered ask in the forums. I will probably answer it there (if I can, I will) because this way it makes the answer available to everyone!
Also, if you guys really want to help the site, SUBMIT HACKS! I am sure you guys have some great ideas as well.. Also please help me by clicking on the google ads.. This new dedicated server is EXPENSIVE!
