Charon not finding anonymous proxies? - 2006/03/13 04:47 I was looking through the most popular I-Hacked articles(not much of a list)and i was reading Finding and Using Anonymous proxies. Well, i downloaded Charon, and i haven't found 1 anonymous proxy yet. Is it just going to take several times, or is there a problem?

Re:Charon not finding anonymous proxies? - 2006/03/13 06:05 Yea, i had the same problem, i would leave Charon on for hours and it wouldn't find anything, there are premade proxy lists out there if u want, u can use google to search but u can use the one made by hevnst at g2p.org

i have the extension for firefox already, but i just need to get charon working.

i also set the number of threads up to 50 with no luck.
it'd be nice if someone had a manual for it.

Re:Charon not finding anonymous proxies? - 2006/03/14 21:17 it seems there may be an issue with the proxyjudge, whatever that is. i used one of the external ones that wasn't "bad", still no luck. i've tried the version in the downloads section of i-hacked, and the latest version from www.project2025.com . no luck. anyone know what we're doing wrong? i'm going to have another look at the original article.
