by CodedChaos

Parts needed: **Auto Installer Deluxe(AID) v3.0, An xbox compatible hard drive, and about 30 min.

Step one: back-up you stock hard drive's E drive to your computer.

Step two: put new hard drive in xbox

Step three:Turn on xbox with mod-chip ON and AID disc in DVD drive.

Step four:Follow instructions on TV.

Step five:Once format is over AID will load it's menu, install the Dash you want to use (I recommend XBMC)

Step six(optional):If you want to use Xbox Live, then install the MS Dashboard (this can be done with AID disc)

Step seven(only need if you did step six):Use Config Magic (on AID) to lock your new hard drive. If you don't lock it, you can't use your xbox without mod-chip on.

Step eight restore the backups you made to their proper location on the new hard drive.

Enjoy!

If you want to use this guide somewhere else, you are welcome to! but please, give me credit

**AID can be obtained on xbins, but if you modded your xbox, you should already have a copy of it somewhere. (If not, e-mail me)
