Is there any way to put on a sort of "Limited Account" for the i-hacked forums?
I was thinking something along the lines of allowing members to invite one friend, and that person would be able to post in the open forums (not the Members Only section, just that which the public can view. I decided it was a good idea to not simply turn on guest posting, because it would crowd the forums with spam and useless posts, not to mention the fact that it would remove one of the perks of being a member.
But if a mamber invites someone to have a limited account, then they gat a taste of what things are like moreso, and it might convince them to get a membership and see what is in the members only section.
Also, i'm sure there are a lot of non members that have a lot to contribute to the forums, but are unable to post it. I personally have had this problem on several forums.
It will most likely also get the word out more about i-hacked, too.
If this means that there will be more members posting and a need for more moderators, i can volunteer for that if it is needed as well, as i am online often.
It's just a thought to toss around, any ideas or suggestions?
