Re:A new idea for a website - 2006/08/24 02:37 Also, the idea of a community library is something that very much appeals to me. I have some cracks, but mostly just large amounts of codes. Everything from photoshop to windows xp home/pro, 2000 server edition, flash, acrobat, the basics. My idea is to take my codes and these other codes I have access to and place them somewhere where a SMALL community would be able to get access to them. In order to limit access, a new password would be put on every 10 days or something like that, just so that everyone who emails each other about it get locked out soon.

I am also in contact with someone who says they can make cracks. If they can or not has not been proven yet, but the idea is very interesting to me. I was looking through those websites that everyone gets their codes from, and was just wondering about how they can exist. Doing a little research shows that they are based in off-shore servers (duh).

Then I started looking at the legality of posting these sorts of things online, and found a shocker. If I own the software, I own the software as it exists, which limits my right to modifiy it. However, I own the actually box and paper without question. It is clearly established in electric commerce law. If the code is written on that box and paper and I wish to publish it, then it is my right. If I bought the software second-hand for 10% of its retail cost is not mentioned as long as I can prove that the chain of ownership is clear.

All that being said, I still want to place it behind a password, but I think this is something that could really help the ihacked community. Imagine being able to play around with software that could help you with whatever you want to do without having to worry about spending 4 hours wandering around russian websites loading your computer up with spyware. I want a simple little private website, no ads or anything stupid like that. Just a list of html files with some sort of voting program to show if the code works or not so I can update it.

I am looking for feedback and ideas, so anything you can give me would be great. Thanks guys.

Re:A new idea for a website - 2006/08/24 02:39 Well, not 10%, but still cheaper than retail by far.

Re:A new idea for a website - 2006/08/24 16:12 actually the best "crack" i've found, idk if you guys have come accross it before, it a student version for windows xp professional. Basically, its has all the features of windows pro, but it was created to help people learn how to install xp on a computer so it is expected to be copied over and over again. It works without any activation problems and that shit

Re:A new idea for a website - 2006/08/25 08:54 I'll also donate what codes I can find on my computer, as well as cracks. I can make basic cracks, but nothing too complex at all. "Our Generation has had no Great war, no Great Depression. Our war is spiritual. Our depression is our lives..."

Re:A new idea for a website - 2006/08/26 12:02 Ok the first thing I would recommend would be to drop by www.relakks.com and sign up for there service. It's like $7a month or $60 some a year. You get a vpn setup with no ties to your ip# except you need a internet connection. (Taken from site and inspired by The Edge http://edge.i-hacked.com/pirate-party-launches-anonymous-darknet-for-file-sharing)
"If Swedish authorities can prove beyond reasonable doubt that they have a case for demanding subscription information from RELAKKS (they have to be of the opinion that if convicted the user will be imprisoned – fined not enough). .

RELAKKS then have to hand over the subscription information entered by you (but that’s all). RELAKKS do not store any subscribtion information about you except what you entered yourself when signing up for the RELAKKS Safe Surf service.

For Swedish authorities to force RELAKKS to hand over “traffic data” including your RELAKKS IP at a specific point in time, they will have to prove a case with the minimum sentence of two years imprisonment.

Regarding inquires from other parties than Swedish authorities RELAKKS will never hand over any kind of information.

The combination Swedish high-tech encryption and the strongest legal protection give you true access to Internet, safer and speedier then ever before."

I would also sign up for www.ezyrewards.com to get a free domain name. (I have some 30gigs.com invites if you need in case of spam.) They also don't care if you put fake info for your site,So when someone does a whois fake things come up and put somthing about backups only on your site.
