Motherboard Woes - 2007/06/14 05:40 My recently acquired GA-8I945P Gigabyte motherboard doesn't support my Core 2 Duo processor.

I'm working on finding an updated BIOS for it so that it'll support C2D, so if you know anything about an updated BIOS do inform me about it.

If you give me anything that helps I'll give you a cookie (and maby a karma point or 2).

This mobo will be easily overclocked and nice to work with. That doesn't change the fact that it costs $80.

The product number is GA-8I945P Pro

It's a GREAT mobo, it just doesn't support Core 2 Duo. It'd be great for those of you who want to make a computer dedicated to heavy processing and such, or if you don't want to spend a fortune you could use it for your main comp.

Edit: It does support Pentium D, for those of you who are too lazy to look at the link.
