FIREFOX BOOST - 2005/01/02 09:00 When you are in the config menu - also add this step

right click on the screen and select new integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0”. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

Re:FIREFOX BOOST - 2005/03/06 12:39 When I used Surbo's trick (nglayout.initialpaint.delay), it worked fine until I got DSL. With my higher speed, it would make pages load really strangely...

For example, sometimes when you view a site, the side menu will load first, but it will load in the center of the screen and move over later. When I used this hack, it would make the menu jump back and forth from the side and middle until the page was fully loaded (which completely ruined the concept of this mod)

So beware if that happens to you, that this is the one doing it.
