How to "borrow" ringers from pay sites Print E-mail

First you must have to find a site that allows you to review the ringers .. such as lets say a .qcp file

Well the site that I found    www.CENSORED.com  lets me preview ringers.  "Site was removed to protect the example site from fixing the hole"
But wait they want me to sign up - which takes about 1 to 2 minutes - plus after that I have to pay 20 bucks - no thanks

Things you will need -

  • Internet  - Which if you reading this you are good
  •  Microsoft FrontPage (or any other wysiwyg html editor)  - This helps "borrow" the links - Lots of ways to do this
  •   Basic html skills

Step 1 )  Click on the preview of the ringer

When the ringer preview pops up - you must capture where the link is coming from.

Note : I don't have any qcp preview software so it displays are missing plug-in icon

To do this open up Front Page

Step 2)Start a new document

Create a new link  - By clicking  the insert Hyperlink Icon

The Hyperlink box will open up

Click on the ringer pop up preview window

Switch back to FrontPage and look in the address line.

You will now see the address of preview file - Click OK

Step 3)

You must now download the file to your pc. - Select the "Preview" button in the bottom right.

Now right click on the url and save the qcp file to your pc.

Step 4)

Upload the qcp file to your phone by using any phone upload tool - I use SprintUsers

Hints: Try google hacking to find lists of ringers
